Who should come
Travelers who want adventure, culture, community, and authentic Thailand with comfortable sleeping arrangements.
Who should choose another trip
This is not a luxury resort vacation. If you want to learn backpacking through hostel stays, explore the separate Raw Thailand: Backpacker Experience.
The experience
Northern culture, southern islands, and space to make it yours.
Adventure, comfort, community, and freedom across northern and southern Thailand. Comfortable rooms, your own bed, and one roommate under standard pricing. No hostels; this is not a luxury resort vacation. Eight paid travelers join Theo and his sister: ten people total.
April 12–22, 2027 is locked. The current route is Chiang Mai → Krabi → Phi Phi → Phuket. Major shared experiences are being organized alongside free time; every hour will not be scheduled. Properties, vendors, and detailed logistics remain subject to confirmation.
Honest expectations
Comfortable rooms and your own bed, with one roommate under standard pricing. Planned adventures may change with weather, availability, or safety. No hostels, no guaranteed luxury properties, and no pressure to join scooter riding.
What this could look like
The days we're building around.
01Songkran in Chiang Mai — primary group day April 13
02Chiang Mai nature and exploration — exact adventures TBD
03Krabi Official Free-Will Day — April 18
04Phi Phi overnight stays and island exploration — lodging TBD
06Phuket shopping, food, and flexible exploring before departure
Where we'll stay
Comfortable accommodations throughout: two travelers per room, each with their own comfortable bed and one roommate from the group. Properties may include hotels, guesthouses, villas, or similar comfortable stays. No hostels. Exact properties are TBD. Private/single rooms may be available for an additional cost, subject to availability; upgrade prices are TBD.
How we'll move
Group ground transportation will be coordinated where appropriate, with larger transfers planned for approximately ten people plus luggage. Vehicles and providers are TBD. Scooters may be used for optional experiences; nobody is pressured to ride. Alternative transportation should be available for activities that would otherwise require scooters. Safety and comfort come first.
Safety and responsibility
Travel at your own pace. Optional scooter experiences need appropriate safety arrangements and alternative transportation. Pai remains an optional idea: no overnight or Road to Pai ride is confirmed. Activity providers and transportation are still being verified.
Still being planned
Exact accommodations, private-room prices, April 14–16 activities, detailed 2027 Songkran events, flight options/windows, GPS guides, ferry/boat providers, transfer details, breakfast availability, and the four-meal schedule are TBD. Final inclusions and the complete budget must be verified before deposits are taken.
Food freedom, with four shared meals
Four intentional group meals are included; their dates and venues are still TBD. Breakfast is included only when the booked accommodation includes it. Most other lunches, dinners, street food, snacks, and drinks are purchased by travelers. Thailand has a huge variety of food: choose street markets, local restaurants, solo exploring, or meals with smaller groups instead of coordinating all ten people every time. This freedom also lets more of the trip budget go toward accommodations, transportation, and experiences.

Trip hosting, planning, and organized major experiences, with final activities subject to confirmation
