Good questions
Everything to know before you go.
What is Theo’s Trips?
Intentional group road trips and international adventures hosted by Theo. They are about nature, friendship, presence, leaving your comfort zone, and genuine community.
What kind of people come?
Adventurous, kind, open-minded people who want real friendship and can share space respectfully.
Are these influencer trips?
No. These are homie road trips. The goal is real connection, not clout.
Are the trips sober?
Yes. No alcohol, illegal drugs, or partying. The 21+ rule is about maturity—not drinking.
What is included on U.S. bus trips?
Housing, pillow, blanket, towel, transportation, airport pickup and drop-off, two meals a day, bus snacks, campsites, park fees, fuel, laundry, group activities, and Theo’s planning and guidance.
What is not included?
Flights, lunches, extra snacks, personal spending, personal gear, and hotels before or after the trip.
How does the deposit work?
You can apply without a deposit. Deposits help hold places in the order received, but remain pending until approval. If you are denied, the deposit is refunded. After acceptance it is non-refundable; more than 30 days out it may transfer to another trip, while within 30 days it is forfeited.
What happens after I apply?
Theo reviews your application. No deposit is collected when you apply. If accepted, you complete your emergency contact, liability waiver, deposit, and other pre-trip details before joining the required Instagram group chat.
What if a trip is sold out?
Join the waiting list. No deposit is required. You should be prepared to show proof of a refundable or insured flight within seven days.
How many people come?
U.S. bus trips usually have 5–15 guests. International trips are usually around 10.
Do I need Instagram?
Yes. All logistics and announcements happen in an Instagram group chat. A simple account with an ID photo and no posts is fine.
What meals are included?
Most U.S. bus trips include breakfast, dinner, and bus snacks. Lunch is not included; sandwiches are a simple option. International trip inclusions vary by trip page.
Is there fridge space?
Space is limited, so plan personal food around non-perishable options.
Where do we sleep?
Options include a shared large bed inside the bus, floor beds, a rooftop tent, outdoor tents, hammocks, and single padded mats. You choose after arriving—not during sign-up.
What if I arrive early?
You can sleep at the airport, book a hotel, or coordinate in advance if Theo and the bus are available around 10 p.m. the night before. This is not guaranteed; keep the bus calm so Theo can rest before the trip.
What time is airport pickup and drop-off?
For U.S. bus trips, standard pickup is 11 a.m. on day one and drop-off is noon on the last day; book departing flights after 2 p.m. Thailand Comfortable Vacation Experience begins in Chiang Mai (CNX) on April 12, 2027 and ends in Phuket (HKT) on April 22. Its exact airport timing is TBD; do not apply the bus-trip times to that trip. Travelers also purchase their April 17 CNX → KBV flight separately, after Theo confirms flight guidance.
Can beginners come?
Yes. You do not need to be an expert hiker, athlete, or cliff jumper. Listen to instructions and participate within your ability.
Do I have to cliff jump?
No. Adventure activities are optional. Side quests are encouraged, but your capability and comfort level come first.
Can I come alone or as an introvert?
Yes to both. Most people arrive solo. You do not need to be loud—just genuine, kind, and respectful.
Is there a bathroom or shower on the bus?
There is no toilet on the bus; campsites and stops provide toilets, and remote drives may require outdoor bathroom breaks. The bus has an outdoor rinse shower designed for swimsuit use.
Are there charging outlets?
Yes. The bus has 24/7 wall outlets.
What if I need space?
Quiet time is encouraged, especially in the mornings. A single bed can provide personal space while moving, but everyone should expect to share a close environment.
How do I find cheaper flights?
Search Google Flights, compare one-way tickets separately, and book early when your plans are confirmed.
