The experience
The mountains are the adventure. You don't have to drive.
The Ha Giang Loop is the centerpiece of this trip. For approximately four days, you'll ride as a passenger with an experienced local Vietnamese driver through northern Vietnam's mountain scenery.
We plan to begin in Hanoi, spend a night together while international arrivals come in, and take an overnight sleeper bus toward Ha Giang. We want time to experience Vietnam beyond the loop, but that part of the itinerary is still being researched.
Honest expectations
You don't need motorcycle riding experience as a passenger. You should be comfortable spending long periods on the back of a bike in mountain conditions and with plans that may change.
